Starry nights...

Can you imagine being in a box? A box that has no gaps at all, so you are inside this black space. You can't even see your hand in front of you. This is black, really, really black.

Around the box is a really bright light, in fact its not a light it is just simply light. With no explainable source, there is just light. But, you being on the inside of the box, it is impossible to see this light.

But the light it is really strong, it is powerful, it starts to burn holes through the box. Tiny, pin-prick sized holes.

And so you see these small little glimmers of light. They're so small you think you may have imagined them. But in all this blackness the light is pricking holes through.

Have you ever been outside on a clear night? It is my favourite thing to do, because when you go outside on a clear night and look upwards there are hundreds of little sparkles in the sky.

The pin-pricks of light are there for all to see.

We live in a dark, dark world, and with all the mess that happens it would be easy to think that there is no hope.

But I'm telling you there IS light. I can see it when I look up at the stars. There IS hope of a light-filled future.

A dazzlingly bright, and beautiful, future.

Let's start looking for the pin-pricks of light in our lives. The little moments of hope. Because when you start collecting them you begin to realise that they add up to something quite spectacular.

God is out there and He's in here too. He's promising us and showing us that there IS hope.

There is hope right now, and even greater hope for the future.

When you're feeling trapped, boxed-in, and in total darkness, look up, look around notice the pin-pricks of hope. Gather them together and let's light up the room ready to dance.

Dancing in the hope.

Because as we dream bigger, and look beyond what is right in front of us, we see that there is hope, and it's begging for us to notice. It's completely beautiful, so: will you collect it with me, so we can share it with everyone?

There is more than enough to go around.

And never, ever forget...even on the cloudy nights the stars are still there, they are always there, its just all the grime is hiding them. So keep holding onto the knowledge that there is hope, because there is.

And its Beautiful.
